Liana is a fifth year doctoral student in the Counseling Psychology program at Texas Women’s University. Liana feels strongly about building a relationship with each of her client's and a foundation that allows you, as the client, to feel safe, accepted, and comfortable. You are the expert of your own life, as your therapist, Liana is here to try to understand you best. She strives to foster a relationship with her clients that allows her to challenge them towards their goals for growth. Liana will strive to always ask questions that help her better understand you, which may also help you better understand yourself. She believes that everything that has been a part of your life including cultural identities, family, relationships, and environment has lef you to the moment you are in today.
If you are feeling nervous about starting therapy, you are not alone! As your therapist, Liana is aware of how therapy may seem scary, and she is here to support you and talk through those fears. She wants to help you work towards living the life that you want to live!
