doctoral student in clinical psychology

supervised by Kelleigh Head, PsyD

Abigail was born in Portland, ME, and moved to Texas when she was 5 years old and has lived in the DFW area since. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Texas Christian University with a major in vocal performance and a minor in Psychology. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

Abigail enjoys working with a diverse group of clients and has a strong interest in working with adults and young adults struggling with depression, anxiety, and trauma. She strives to provide a comfortable and welcoming environment where you can feel secure and express yourself freely. Abigail's therapy style is based mainly on Cognitive Behavioral interventions, commonly referred to as "CBT". This approach employs a structured, evidence-based framework to address ongoing depressive tendencies and excessive anxiety. Abigail collaborates with her clients to establish a clear link between their thoughts, emotions, and actions, and to identify negative patterns and core beliefs which may be contributing to their issues.

Abigail works out of ROCC’s Richardson office. To schedule an appointment with her, please call 469-619-7622 or email ROCC's office at ROCC@richlandoaks.org.

We don’t hear much about how painful it is to go from being completely stuck to becoming unstuck. The process of becoming unstuck requires tremendous bravery, because basically we are completely changing our way of perceiving reality, like changing our DNA. We are undoing a pattern that is just not our pattern. It’s the human pattern.
